Masseria

The late 18th-century Masseria comes alive today as a place of hospitality and storytelling. Restored with care, it preserves the rural memory of Salento while opening itself to tastings, events, and lodging.
Next door, the modern winery harmonizes with history: tradition and innovation meet among vineyards, Saracen trulli, and olive trees. Here, every step carries the scent of Puglia, and every glass reveals its soul.

History

Purchased in 2017, the masseria is believed to have once served as a shelter for farm laborers in its two larger rooms, and for livestock in the smaller one. It has been entirely restored and expanded following eco-sustainability criteria.

Today, these historic spaces are dedicated to hospitality, wine tastings, and events. A modern winery equipped with advanced technology has been built alongside the masseria: tradition and innovation coexist in perfect balance, reflecting our corporate philosophy and bringing out the best in both the grapes and the terroir.

trulli

The Saracen Trulli, or “Pajare,” are rural structures built using the “dry-stone wall” technique.

They were traditionally used for storing tools or as seasonal dwellings for farmers. Constructed from stones gathered directly from the fields, they date back to 1000 AD—making them far more ancient than the famous trulli of Alberobello. The company’s name and logo draw their inspiration from these historic buildings.

geographical location

Where sea meets vine and wind strokes the dunes, arises a terroir that tells the story of an authentic Puglia.

Just a few steps from the Ionian coast, the light reflects off the sands, and the Mediterranean scrub scents the air. The soils, ranging from red earth to lighter terrain, create a unique balance that is captured in the glass—intense and harmonious.

Heir to Grottaglie’s pottery tradition, the capasone is a giant terracotta vessel once used to store wine and oil.
Its name evokes its “capacity” to preserve.
